I know they suggest not to get it wet or sleeping in your jewelry. I sleep in my jewelry. I shower with my jewelry. However, before I wore my jewelry, I put several coats of clear nail polish on both pieces and periodically. I remove my jewelry and put coats of clear nail polish on top to keep even longer had for several months now and never know issues.

Love it!! When I first took it out of the box I thought I made a mistake by getting a small because I couldn't seem to open the clap. Next I thought maybe it's not a clap like I thought. Then I tried again and opened the clasp. Lastly I put it on and fell in love with it. I like that the clap is tightly secured so I won't have to worry about it falling off.
